Au Revoir Weekend !!!

Yet another Sunday at office...

The gift - 'A ruined lifestyle'.. is what i graciously accept after 23 years of my life, that made me a Software Engineer.
I agree.. this sounds like coming from a non enthusiastic 'experienced' person.
For those who do not know, its been just an year that I entered the corporate world.

No offense.
Corporate world is a dynamic place to be. Every day may not be enriching enough, but a sense of uncertainty keeps the momentum on. The quest for position, money and knowledge (for few) drives one through.

I have got umpteen opportunities to meet people who have been in this profession for 10 + years. Admiration and respect for them defines the feeling well enough.
However, on a second thought, a question creeps in my mind -
How interesting is it to live 10 years of a lifeless lifestyle in IT?

What makes me happy to be comparatively fresh in this industry?
I am not yet caught in the vicious circle of money, power and politics. I am still not addicted to the luxury of comfortable living. I still see hope, to find a way out of this herd and define my own journey..

One year's trash...

Happened to clean my room today.
With piles of papers stacked together, its hard to keep track of what is where. Our very own room becomes so unknown! And the day we need something, unfortunately there is no CTRL+F option to make our life easier!
So, today i thought of putting things back in place. Believe it or not.. I managed to collect 5 big polybags of trash.. out of my room. Some old unknown bills, shoes, bags, accessories.. There were things about which i had no idea.. courtesy my poor memory. And few, which had some incidents attached to it..which were equally trash. Some of them also reminded me of my unfulfilled dreams.. and unimplemented plans.

Removing trash out of my room, was a walk over to what all i did last year. Most of them were things which mean nothing to me anymore.

I hope that i dont accumulate any more trash in my room.
Hope i dont lift another dream to dump it to dustbin again.

Sallu Bhai ki jai !!!

Watched 'DABANGG' today..!!! A classic example of mast mass movie.. Absolute trash with every possible mirch masala.. made to be a HIT for sure!! At times i pity salman khan. Old age, hair loss and on top of it.. rajnikant style action. I still remember his good golden days..the heart throbbing young prem of maine pyaar kiya and sameer of hum dil de chuke sanam.
Salman Khan is a star for sure!! A BIG name in the industry with some really good movies like Khamoshi in his kitty. After being in the industry for so long and building a niche of his own, how can he landup doing an absolute mass movie, with NO brains at all ?? Nevertheless, the reason why DABANGG is a hit is only him.. Only HE can manage to do heights of stupidity with a style of his own and make people just go crazy about it!
Its surely not easy to make a fool of oneself. Salman Khan is doing good in proving himself to be one!

Coming back after long..

Logged into my blog today.. and saw the last post. I very well remember the time when I started writing this blog. The memories flashed.. and then just got my eyes on the date on the top left corner. Goodness !!.. Its been an year now! This blog seems to have stuck in 2009..which was not a very great year for me in few respects. Nevertheless there were really good things that happened as well ! The best thing being me getting my first job!!, which i cherish a lot. Now its time to give some life to this blog again!
